Genesis Capital Advises Ride the Ducks International on the Sale of its Branson, MO Operations to Ripley Entertainment

Genesis Capital is pleased to announce that Ride the Ducks International (“RTDI”) has divested its Branson, MO operations to Ripley Entertainment.  Ride the Ducks of Branson provides a 70-minute amphibious tour through the scenic Ozarks on both land and water, while also detailing the history behind some of America’s most unique military vehicles.

Chris Herschend, majority owner and President of RTDI, said “We are pleased to bring Ripley into the "Duck family" with this deal.  They share our passion for fun, quirky, family attractions and our commitment to Branson. I know they invest for the long haul, employ great people, and are generous community leaders."  

Chris Herschend also added, “Genesis Capital was invaluable in guiding us to secure the best strategic outcome for RTDI. I am incredibly pleased both with our buyer and with the process that led to closing.”

Genesis Capital acted as financial advisor to RTDI and Troutman Sanders LLP provided legal counsel.
