Jeffrey Villwock Joins Genesis Capital
|
Atlanta, GA - June 13, 2006 - June 13, 2006, Atlanta, GA - Genesis Capital, LLC is pleased to announce that Jeffrey C. Villwock is joining the company as a Managing Partner. Mr. Villwock was the original founder of Caymus Partners LLC, an Atlanta based middle market investment banking firm.
Mr. Villwock stated, Genesis Capital was founded by Jonathan Goldman, with whom I have partnered in the past. I came to Atlanta in 1997 in order to work with Jonathan, who at the time was head of healthcare investment banking for The Robinson-Humphrey Company. He and I worked very effectively together to build a very successful franchise.
Mr. Villwock formed what is today Caymus Partners. In 2000, Mr. Goldman opened the Atlanta office for Robertson Stephens. At RS, Jonathan was a member of the management committee and managed several practice groups on a global basis. When RS was shuttered in late 2002, Jonathan founded Genesis Capital to continue to serve the strong client base the team had developed in several growth industries.
I am very excited about teaming up with Jonathan again said Mr. Villwock. I will continue to be highly focused in healthcare services and to strengthen our reach into healthcare software and information technology, which is already a core focus of Genesis. Our vision of the future for Genesis Capital is highly complementary and we are already pursuing some exiting ideas for new growth
