Jeff Villwock joined Genesis Capital as a Managing Director in June 2006. He is an investment professional with over 30 years experience specializing in healthcare services. As a two-time Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst in Healthcare Services, Jeff came to Atlanta in 1997 to lead the healthcare research group of The Robinson-Humphrey Company. He was later the founder and a Managing Partner of Caymus Partners LLC, a middle-market investment bank, which was formed in 2001 to provide high quality investment banking services to healthcare service companies. That firm was restructured in 2006 and Jeff rejoined Jonathan Goldman at Genesis Capital.
Jeff has completed assignments in the hospital management, home healthcare, assisted living, surgery center, disease management, dialysis service, rehabilitation service and physician service industries. Included in these assignments are advising on the start-up or initial acquisitions for Iasis Healthcare (a $1.6 billion privately held hospital company), HealthMont, Inc. (hospital company sold to a publicly traded company), Surgis, Inc (surgery center company sold to a publicly traded company), Celtaxsys, Inc. (early stage drug development), Mitral Solutions (early stage heart valve device), St. Kitts Medical, LLC (medical education) and Eastern Caribbean Healthcare, Inc (healthcare services).
Mr. Villwock earned a B.A.S. in Economics from Southern Methodist University.
