Summer Intern Program
Each year, Genesis Capital offers a summer internship for rising college seniors. Candidates should be in their junior year, pursuing a degree in any major with exceptional academic achievement and possess strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills. The position requires a 12 week commitment and allows summer interns to participate in mergers and acquisitions, in a wide range of industries.

Summer interns will be part of a three to four-member deal team and play a critical role on each transaction. Some of the summer interns primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: extensive company and industry research, financial modeling, valuation analysis, document drafting, gathering due diligence on client companies, meeting with company management, assisting in the preparation of presentations to companies and their Board of Directors.

Resumes are accepted throughout the Fall of each year for an internship the following summer.

Our prior summer interns have accepted full-time positions with leading, national investment banks including Banc of America Securities, Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking, Duff & Phelps and Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zurkin. Others have been accepted to attend post-graduate studies at leading universities and have started their own businesses.
