CAREERS
Analyst Program
Genesis Capital continually seeks qualified candidates for its Analyst program. The program starts in July of every year and requires a 2 - 3 year commitment. It allows Analysts to participate in a variety of financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, private placements, and general financial advisory services across a wide range of industries. Analysts will research and analyze financial statements, general economic conditions, industry specific conditions and trends, acquisitions and divestitures, and various investment attributes of both privately-held and publicly-traded companies. Analysts hone their business judgment, develop an understanding of how the capital markets work and learn how to model complex financial situations.
Genesis Capital encourages a collegial and entrepreneurial environment and rewards its Analysts with substantial responsibility and interaction with senior-level accounting and legal professionals and CFOs and CEOs of client companies. Analysts will complete a diverse array of projects, usually working on several assignments simultaneously. Analysts are members of 3 - 4 person deal teams and work side-by-side with senior bankers.
Genesis Capital considers candidates pursuing a degree in any major with exceptional academic achievement and that possess strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills. Direct hiring for full-time programs typically occurs during the fall. The best time for potential candidates to submit applications for this program is from early September through early November.
